DICK REITENBACH
Dick is the original partner of Equipco Ltd. He has extensive experience in instrumentation and service sales. He graduated from high school in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, and served a five-year industrial instrumentation apprenticeship with Kaiser Resources in Sparwood, BC. He then moved to Vancouver and was employed with Johnson Controls. During his seven years at Johnson's as Service Sales and Operation Manager, he accomplished building the service end of the business from an insignificant department to a level where it was the major profit center of the Vancouver branch. Dick holds a Class B gas ticket and an industrial instrumentation certificate. He is an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers Inc.
BRUCE ENGLISH
Bruce joined Equipco in 1992 and is a partner in the company. He graduated from Vancouver Technical School in 1975 and holds a Class B Electrical Contractor Ticket. He has over twenty years of practical and instructional experience in the industry. He worked as a project manager and construction superintendent for Johnson Controls, as an electrical trades instructor for British Columbia Institute of Technology, and as a training director for the BC Joint Training Committee for the IBEW and Electrical Contractors Association. He also served on the Electrical Safety Advisory Committee and the Electrical Trade Advisory Committee. His knowledge enables Equipco to maintain the high level of training and service we offer to our customers. He also holds a Class B gas ticket and is an active member of the Residential Hot Water Heating Association of BC.
JASON MacKENZIE
Jason MacKenzie is a strong team player with a sound sales and marketing background that has spanned over 10 years. Since he joined Equipco in January 2004, Jason has proven his sales expertise with a natural ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships using courtesy and commitment to meet customer needs. During his career, Jason worked in management positions and, during that time successfully completed his Economics Degree at Simon Fraser University.
ROBERT PARKINSON
Robert Parkinson came to Equipco from the wholesale industry in 2002. His experience extends back to 1986 having acquired practical, customer service and management experience in the plumbing and HVAC industries. Robert's gregarious personality contributed to a successful career in Wholesale Sales and Management for over 10 years, Retail Sales and Management for four years with an additional four years in Management and Quotations for Service Contractors. Equipco has highly benefited from Robert's high energy and diligence to the company and his customers. In the past, Robert successfully completed several Management, Sales Management and Personal Training Courses.
LORNE REITENBACH
Lorne joined Equipco's Calgary Branch in February 2003 as Sales Representative for Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan and has recently been appointed Alberta Sales and Operations Manager overseeing both the Calgary and Edmonton Branches. After graduating from a three-year College program in Saskatchewan with an Industrial Instrumentation Engineering Technology Diploma, he was hired as Sales Representative by Barber Valve & Controls in Regina, SK, later opening a Saskatoon home office for them. After three years, Lorne worked with Rosemount Inc. (now Emerson Process Management) for five years as Factory Representative for all of Saskatchewan during which time the company merged with Septre Controls Ltd. (Fisher Controls representative) providing Lorne with the opportunity to work as Account Manager in Northeast Saskatchewan as well as Product Specialist within the company. Lorne is an active and participating member of both the local ASHRAE and CIPH organizations.
RYAN BRISTOW
Ryan joined our Sales Team in July 2006 when Equipco expanded their territory to Manitoba and eastern Ontario as far as Thunder Bay, operating and managing the Winnipeg branch. His background supports a strong focus within the Plumbing and Heating industry over the past 9 years with the previous eight years’ experience in sales and marketing. Ryan has an excellent range of education as he graduated from Commerce and Marketing in 98 and has had extensive product training through various manufactures CIPH and other educational institutions. He worked with another manufacturer’s agent in Manitoba covering the Man, Sask and Lakehead region, Ryan is adept at troubleshooting product issues as well as coordinating product training and promotional events. He is well versed to discuss product applications with Engineers, Wholesalers, Contractors, Builders and Architects.
